About CargoCare

CargoCare is a collaborative platform that connects logistics professionals with food shelters so that surplus cargo reaches people who need it instead of going to waste. Every week, freight companies, brokers and dispatchers deal with loads that are refused, delayed or overstocked. Much of that food is still perfectly good. CargoCare gives those teams a simple, organized way to offer it to a nearby shelter.

What the app does

Logistics teams log a donation with the cargo type, quantity, temperature needs and pickup details. They search an interactive map of partner shelters, check accepted food types and capacity, and assign the delivery. A built-in schedule keeps pickups and deliveries on the calendar, and messaging lets carriers, drivers and shelter staff coordinate in one place. Each donation moves through clear statuses from submitted to delivered, and a delivered donation can be downloaded as a printable record for tax and sustainability reporting.

Who it is for

CargoCare is built for freight companies, brokers, dispatchers and drivers who want a documented way to donate surplus loads, and for food shelters and food banks that want reliable, well-coordinated deliveries. Shelters use the platform for free, and freight teams get role-based dashboards tailored to the work they do every day.

Who builds it

CargoCare is built by a small team that believes logistics expertise and food rescue belong together. We work directly with freight operators and shelter coordinators to keep the product practical and focused on real deliveries. If you would like to get involved, we would love to hear from you.
